The Catholic Church considers the Mass the pinnacle of our professed faith as it is the fulfillment of all the sacrifices. Our tradition of featuring flower arrangements on the altar is rooted in grace, virtue and heavenly warmth. Flowers are reminders of God's creation.
We are excited about beginning this new program in which you can honor your loved one or make a special intention by offering flowers for the weekend Masses. You may want to honor your parents for their 50th wedding anniversary or honor a friend on the anniversary of their death.
St. Jude Chapel spends $150 each week for two beautiful arrangements. For a contribution of $150, you can secure the floral arrangements for your special intention.
Please fill out the Floral Intention Request Form (below) and then visit our Donate page to contribute at a minimum, $150. This will help offset our cost (of course, you can make an additional donation if you wish). Any additional contribution goes to support the St. Jude Chapel ministry. Floral intentions are scheduled once the $150 donation is made. We will work with you to select your preferred weekend date. Floral intentions will be published on our website monthly and we will use our Facebook page to acknowledge you, the donor.
Our florist has been providing the arrangements for years. We trust them completely and rely on their expertise for their choice of color, flowers, and vases. We cannot fulfill any special requests at this time. Flowers are not placed at the altar during Lent.
