SAFE Environment Policy

The Diocese of Dallas has a Safe Environment Program that implements training, screening, background checks and other procedures that are designed to reduce the risk of sexual abuse of children and vulnerable adults. Per the Diocese of Dallas, all staff and volunteers who work with children and vulnerable adults as well as volunteer ushers, must be SAFE cleared.

St. Jude Chapel follow this policy and requires all of our employees, gift shop volunteers and ushers to be SAFE-cleared and to maintain annual certification. Gift shop volunteers and members of our finance council are also to be SAFE certified.
